Talks with Tenn: Pull Up a Chair, Let's Connect for a Moment!
First things first, WELCOME!
Now that you're here, let's get something straight.
This isn't going to be one of those blogs where everything sounds pretty, everybody has their life together, and every problem can be solved with a motivational quote and a positive attitude.
Because let's be real. Sometimes life is beautiful. Sometimes it's messy. Sometimes we're growing, rebuilding, starting over, or simply trying to figure out what the hell we're doing.
And sometimes? We're the ones standing in our own way
Yep. I said it.
Welcome to Talks with Tenn!
A space where we can have real conversations about real experiences without feeling like we have to sugarcoat everything to make somebody comfortable.

So, Who Is Tenn?
I'm the person behind AbrandNuVision, a vision that officially came to life on October 18, 2023.
Now, did I have everything figured out when I started? Absolutely not.
Hell, three years later, I'm still learning, evolving, and discovering new possibilities.
And that's one of the biggest lessons I want to share.
You don't have to have everything figured out to begin.
Sometimes you just have to trust yourself enough to take the first step, even when you can't see the entire staircase.
AbrandNuVision was built on the belief that growth, accountability, and intentional change can create opportunities for us to experience life differently.
But Talks with Tenn?
Oh, this is where we're going to get into some things! 😂
Let's Talk About the Stuff We Usually Avoid
We're talking relationships, boundaries, confidence, personal growth, life transitions, accountability, and everything in between.
Why do we keep entertaining things that disturb our peace?
Why do we struggle to say no without providing a five-paragraph explanation?
Why are we so quick to recognize somebody else's toxic behavior but conveniently overlook our own?
And why do we keep asking for change while holding on to the very habits keeping us stuck?
Whew! See, we're already getting uncomfortable.
But here's the thing.
Not every conversation is going to be about what somebody else did to us. Sometimes we're going to have to look in the mirror and acknowledge the role we've played in our own experiences.
And no, that doesn't mean everything is our fault.
It means understanding the difference between what happened to us and what we choose to do moving forward.
That's where accountability comes in.
I'm Not Here to Tell You What You Want to Hear
Let me make something clear.
I'm not going to pretend I have all the answers, and I'm certainly not going to act like I've mastered every lesson life has thrown my way.
I'm human. I have opinions. I have experiences. I have moments when I get things right and moments when I have to check my own damn self.
And I'm perfectly fine admitting that.
What I won't do is create some overly polished version of myself just to make people comfortable.
Who I am is who you're hiring, purchasing from, and trusting.
That matters to me.
You deserve authenticity, honesty, transparency, and someone who understands that growth isn't a one-size-fits-all experience.
So, while I may occasionally challenge your perspective, understand that it's never about making you feel less than.
It's about encouraging you to consider something you may not have considered before.
And trust me, you don't have to agree with everything I say.
Hell, sometimes a difference of opinion creates the best conversation!
And Since We're Asking Questions...
There's one question I believe we should all become a little more comfortable asking:
WHO TOLD YOU THAT?
Who told you that you were too old to start over?
Who told you that setting boundaries was selfish?
Who told you that failure meant you weren't capable?
Who told you that you had to continue living according to expectations that no longer align with who you're becoming?
And the bigger question?
Why are we still allowing those beliefs to make decisions for us?
Sometimes the stories we've accepted about ourselves deserve to be questioned.
And sometimes the answers might surprise the hell out of us.

What Can You Expect From Talks with Tenn?
Real conversations.
Different perspectives.
A little laughter.
Some uncomfortable truths.
And hopefully, a few moments that make you stop, think, and say, "Damn. I never looked at it like that before."
Some topics will be lighthearted. Others will require a little more vulnerability, reflection, and compassion.
And every now and then, we might have to lovingly call some bullshit what it is. 😂
But regardless of the topic, the intention will remain the same: to encourage meaningful conversations that inspire reflection, accountability, and growth.
Because I don't believe growth requires perfection.
I believe it requires willingness.
Before You Go...
Whether you're here because you're navigating a life transition, trying to establish healthier boundaries, rebuilding your confidence, or simply looking for a different perspective, there's room for you here.
You don't have to have it all together.
You don't have to agree with everything.
And you damn sure don't have to pretend to be somebody you're not.
Just come willing to think, reflect, laugh, learn, and occasionally challenge yourself.
Pull up a chair. Get comfortable. And bring an open mind.
Because around here, we're not just talking about change.
We're challenging ourselves to actually do something about it.
Welcome to Talks with Tenn.
Now, let's get into it! 💙
